Cambria Hotel New York - Chelsea

We had an excellent stay at the Cambria NYC Chelsea Hotel and cannot say enough good things about the staff and overall experience. Chelsea and Kevin were especially kind, professional, and accommodating, making our stay seamless from start to finish. A special thank you as well to the front desk agent on the morning of 12/22, please advise his name. He was incredibly helpful and welcoming and truly set a positive tone for the day. Our group of three stayed in a double queen room and it was perfect for us. The beds were extremely comfortable, the room was clean and well laid out, and everything about the stay felt easy and stress free. The hotel is also in a great location, close to multiple subway stations with very easy access for Ubers, which made getting around the city incredibly convenient. The rooftop was beautiful and a great place to relax. We would absolutely love to see a bonfire or firepit added up there during the colder months, as that would make the space even better. We will absolutely be back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in NYC.

Pros- I think the location is great it is close to the subway stations and some main attractions. We were even able to use the Q70 and catch the subway to get to the hotel + a little walk but it wasn’t too bad. The rooms are also pretty spacious and modern. Staff for the most part is also friendly. Cons- The beds themselves are somewhat stiff and lumpy and the tvs don’t work. Also house keeping skipped my room and I had to go downstairs to ask them to clean my room and was told they do it automatically unless I have my dnd sign out and I let them know that my sign wasn’t out but my room wasn’t cleaned, but they did clean it that night. Security at night was ok. Overall, location mattered more to me since we didn’t spend much time in the room. I would rate it overall a 3.7

We had a great stay at the Cambria Hotel New York – Chelsea. The location is fantastic: easy to get around on foot and very convenient to multiple subway stations. The hotel team was wonderful, especially Chelsea at the front desk, who was incredibly kind and helpful with our requests and made us feel very welcome. We stayed in a 2 Queen Beds room, and the room was surprisingly spacious, even with large suitcases, which isn’t always easy to find in NYC. Everything felt comfortable and well thought out. The only minor downside was the bathroom, it’s a bit small and requires some maneuvering, but aside from that, the stay was excellent. Overall, a very good hotel in a great location, with friendly service. Definitely recommended.

A special thanks to Jonathan Front Desk Rep for his kindness and support . He genuinely listened and was able to accommodate and immediately rectify my concerns. Although there were a few minor issues, I would definitely stay here again. The rooms were spacious. Interaction with staff was pleasant. The hotel was within short walking distance of Penn Station,. Overall, location felt safe in the evening to explore nearby shops and eateries.

A great place for tourists. Very convenient to subway and busses. Great variety of dining and shopping within blocks. Safe. One bus (Q70 - free) to one subway (F or R) from LaGuardia. Room was modern and clean. Daily housekeeping top notch. Fast elevators. Quieter rooms are at the rear of the building. Coffee, fridge and microwave. Free bag check aftet checkout greatly appreciated. Courteous and highly professional staff. Helpful and accomdating (Thanks, Chelsea!). Book far in advance for best rates. Everything in Manhattan goes higher the closer you get to your dates. We will definetly stay here again.

We had an absolutely lovely stay. The check-in process was so smooth—the associate was so kind when we got there a few hours early. We checked our bags in, were placed on the early check in list, and were off to see the city. All staff we came across were extremely polite and the ambience of the hotel in general was great. Our room was clean, and water was hot! This was our second stay at a Cambria hotel and we’ll continue to support this brand!

Chose this hitel for proximity to midtown and Chelsea Market area. It was totally walkable. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The room was larger than expected. The bathroom had a good size shower but you almost had to get in the shower to open the door to get out. Or stand in between sink and toilet to open door. You really would have to be there to understand. The sink is super small too. I'm not complaining, just giving true info on room. I would totally stay here again!

Prime location, reasonable price, very friendly staff. I saw a review about rooms not available until 6pm. I was lucky to get my room at 2pm. The receptionist Max was very nice. The room has no view but there's a nice rooftop. The hotel is on a street with many flower shops. The whole night I could hear big noise like loading and moving stuffs on the street. If you're a light sleeper it's hard to have a good sleep. The hotel offers free coffee, tea and hot chocolates in the morning. The coffee didn't taste good though.
